The Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC)<\/strong> is taking the spotlight this year with its three-pillar strategy \u2014 Predict, Prevent, Act<\/strong> \u2014 a forward-thinking model that could reshape how nations approach population health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83e\uddec Predict \u2014 Anticipating Illness Before It Strikes<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Using AI, genomics, and data-driven insight<\/strong>, Abu Dhabi is identifying risk factors before they become disease.
Through its Personalized Precision Medicine program<\/strong>, family members of cancer patients with inherited mutations are proactively screened \u2014 leading to early detection and personalized care<\/strong> for 207 individuals so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the Unified Medical Operations Command Centre (UMOC)<\/strong> uses artificial intelligence to detect outbreaks in real time and coordinate emergency responses across both public and private sectors. It\u2019s not just preparedness \u2014 it\u2019s prevention powered by prediction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abu Dhabi\u2019s IFHAS national screening program<\/strong> has enrolled more than 195,000 citizens<\/strong>, identifying risks early and guiding healthier lives.
In schools, over 322,000 students<\/strong> received annual screenings, and more than 30,000<\/strong> underwent comprehensive health assessments in 2024 alone \u2014 an investment not just in data, but in the next generation\u2019s well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public health isn\u2019t only about systems \u2014 it\u2019s about people.

To combat vector-borne diseases, the emirate deployed over 130,000 mosquito traps<\/strong> and inspected 11,000+ sites<\/strong>, ensuring that health protection extends into every community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
